Prior to the Paris Olympic Games of 2024, Nike launched their campaign Winning Isn't For Everyone celebrating Olympians who never give up. As part of the campaign, W+K Amsterdam singled in on athletes whose relentless pursuit of victory truly never stops. Cindy Ngamba – the first refugee to win an Olympic medal, and Kimia Alizadeh – a 2x medal-winning fighter who changed her nationality to continue her sport. These films showcase what fuels these incredible individuals whose determination and pursuit of gold really has no limits.
Directed by Al Lewis and with photography by Bas Van Est, my creative partner Ana Fesser and I developed high-energy social media assets featuring dynamic and quick-paced interviews designed to give audiences a deeper look into the lives of these two incredible athletes.
Out of all the content we managed to shoot on set we delivered a lot of photography and 2 social videos per Athletes: one intro and one talking about their winning mindset. Those photos and videos ran on Instagram and Nike.com along the main Winning Isn't For Everyone campaign.
On this project, I worked as an Art Director with my creative partner: Ana Fesser, alongside Creative Lead: Craig T. Williams, Director: Al Lewis, DOP & Editor: Mario Karner, Photographer: Bas Van Est, Editor: Francesca Giunta, Producer: Saltanat Ibraeva, Khalid El Khouani and Account: Isaac Chukwumah.
